Site of Sham "St Denis"

Louvres, France (FR)
During The Great War (WWI), the French began construction of a false city resembling St Denis, complete with railways, lights, and buildings. The aim was to distract German bombers from the real city. Sham St Denis was actually created. No traces remain from the air. Much of the site is now occupied by Charles De Gaulle Airport.
