The Smurfit-Stone Building is a 41 story, 582 foot (177 m) skyscraper located at 150 North Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago, Illinois. It was also known as the Stone Container Building and was formerly called the Associates Center. Construction began in 1983 and was completed in 1984. The building was designed by Sheldon Schlegman of A. Epstein and Sons. The two spires at the top cover the main roof and HVAC equipment.

The building is noteworthy because of it's shiny, glass, slanted roof, which is sloped diagonally across the building, causing the roof to have a diamond shape instead of a traditional wedge shape. In addition, the diamond is separated down the middle for a few floors, causing the roof to bear two triangular spires, giving the building a very unique look.
