Snake River Speedway (abandoned)

This multi-track motorsports facility never quite materialized after years of slow construction progress, apparently a victim of the downturn in the economy.

Their former web site, snakeriverspeedway.com, can be seen on web.archive.org (see more info link below). From 2001-10, the site described plans for a 3/8 mile banked D-shaped circle track, 1/4 mile drag strip, RV park, a motocross track, convenience store with gas station, and concession stands.

Other than a few motocross and mud bog races, I haven't found any proof that the business held a regular program of motorsports. Google's Street View shows an abandoned or, at best, a neglected piece of land.
