On Friday 12th August 2022, Thierry F4EGG/P a radio amateur from France reached the summit of Sommet du Prorel and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 11 contacts in total working on the 20 and 10 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit Sommet du Prorel is 2566 metres (8419 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
