Sosnovyi Bor (or Sosnovy Bor depending on translitteration used) nuclear power plant has four reactors of the same type as Chernobyl and it is considered somewhat unsafe by western security standards. It produces 50% of electricity used by the city of St Petersburg 28% of used by SW Russia. 25% of the production is exported to Finland.
