The Operations & Maintenance (O & M) Facility is on a 25-acre site located south of South Forest Street and west of Airport Way in the industrial area south of Downtown Seattle. The facility will accommodate the initial fleet of 35 light rail vehicles and has an ultimate capacity of 104 vehicles. The O & M building is a 162,000-square foot building supported on 1,100 steel piles.
