The public housing complex in Queens, also known as "40 Projects", was built in the 1940s and 50s and consists of 27 buildings with 1,038 apartments housing an estimated 2,559 people.
Rapper 50 Cent grew up here. Other former residents include Nicki Minaj, Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks and Pharoahe Monch.
