Space Shuttle at Launch Complex 39-A

Space Shuttle at Launch Complex 39-A

Cape Canaveral, Florida (FL), US
This is launch pad 39-A, part of Launch Complex 39 where the Apollo and shuttle missions launched. You can clearly see in this image that they are preparing shuttle Discovery for a launch. The angle is bad to see the shuttle itself, but the boosters and external fuel tank are clearly visible. There is a sign on the road near the pad that reads 'Go Discovery' which shows that it's Discovery on the pad. This would mean this would be STS-131 if these pictures were taken in 2010. If they were taken in 2009 the mission would be either STS-119 or STS-128.
