The State Shopping Centre Gulistan also known as the Russian Bazaar is in the centre of the Turkmenistan capital, Ashgabat and is one of the oldest and largest covered markets in the Country.

The centre was originally constructed to the design of the Russian architect Vladimir Visotin between 1972 and 1982 as part of the Ashgabat Reconstruction Program.

The bazar was refurbished by Ekol a Turkish company in 2001 when shops, food stalls and other retail outlets were modernised, and the building covered in white marble.
