Approximately six months after paying $6.1 million for the property, Eriksson caused a media firestorm when he wrecked an illegally-exported $2 million Ferrari Enzo while driving under the influence. He was eventually arrested on various charges. After serving about a year in prison, he was deported to his native Sweden.

The State of California seized this home in 2007 and sold it for just over $4.5 million to an apparel company owner named Noorollah Makabeh.
