Steven Tyler's House

Best known as the lead singer to the hugely successful rock band Aerosmith, Steven Tyler lives here. The Demon of Screamin himself purchased this house in 2011 for $1,325,000. Tyler rose to prominence in the 1970’s as the lead singer of Aerosmith, singing on such hits as Dream On, Sweet Emotion, and Walk this Way.

While in their day Aerosmith was hugely popular, their time in the limelight waned as Tyler struggled with addiction through the 70’s. In 1986 Tyler got clean and Aerosmith began seeing attention again with their collaboration with Run DMC, the first Rock-rap collaboration of its kind. Off the back of this they released several multi platinum albums with a combined thirteen top 40 singles.

Tyler’s personal life was at times rocky, to say the least. At 27 he famously had the parents of then sixteen year old, Julia Holcomb, sign over legal guardianship so they could live together in his Boston home. Ultimately after many personal problems Tyler and Holcomb separated, with her going on to repent for her rock and roll lifestyle, ultimately converting to Catholicism. Afterwards, during a brief relationship with Bebe Buell, he fathered Liv Tyler. And in 1978 he Married 1978 he married Cyrinda Foxe and together they had Mia Tyler. The couple divorced in 1987 and Tyler would marry Teresa Barrick, in 1988 and also divorced in 2008.

The home was recently in the news, as a construction worker fell 15 feet during renovations. The worker, is reportedly recovering well, but was seriously injured after falling from scaffolding.
