Turbine steamer Queen Mary was built in 1933 for service on the river Clyde. She was renamed Queen Mary II in 1935 to allow the original name to be used for the new Cunard Atlantic liner. The original name was restored after the Cunard's ship was removed from register. She was withdrawn from use in 1977. She passed through various owners and has been a restaurant ship in London since 1988. More info and pictures here:
