Telenorsenteret (Telenor Center)

Fornebu, Norway (NO)
From www.telenorsenteret.no:

The architects behind the Telenor Centre at Fornebu refer to their project as "Nuovi-Uffizi" (the new Uffizi), to show where they found their inspiration.

The complex consists of a northern and a southern wing, which, with its curved lines, envelop the square. Steel, glass and travertine stone dominate the exterior facade. Boulevards and a roofed footbridge connect the two wings.

Each wing contains four separate blocks with naturally lit atriums, and each building contains 25 work zones. All vertical and horizontal communication between the 25 zones runs via the atriums. The areas are organised to encourage meetings - chance meetings as well as meetings that are on the fixed agenda - at all levels in the structure.
