On Saturday 22nd October 2022, JN1MSO/1, a radio amateur from Japan reached the summit of Tensosan and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 11 contacts in total working on the 20 metre HF amateur radio band.
The summit of Tensosan is 1723 metres (5653 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
Tokoyo is in the Nagano Prefecture on Honshu Island.
