The Day Theater

The Day Theater

Portland, Oregon (OR), US
The Star Theater was built in 1924. In 1928 the name was changed to the Ames. Eventually the theater was renamed The Day, and then closed in 1965. Though The Day Theater served a number of purposes such as church services throughout the 1970's and 1980's, it never fell to "adult" content, and was eventually abandoned. Sometime in the early 2000's, it seems to have been renovated into a community center of some type, but recent Street View images suggest it hasn't been in use for some time.
