"The Karate Kid" Filming Location "South Seas Apartments"

Filming location used in the 1984 action-drama "The Karate Kid." The film starred,Ralph Macchio,Pat Morita and Elisabeth Shue.

Anyone familiar with the movie, The Karate Kid will recognize these apartments right away. In the film,Daniel Larusso and his mom move into the South Seas Apartments, where he meets and befriends the apartment's handyman, Mr.Miyagi who agrees to teach him karate.

The South Seas Apartments is private property. Please do not trespass, knock on the apartment door(s), or do anything to disturb the residences.
