The Lihu'e Theatre

The Lihu'e Theatre

Lihue, Hawaii (HI), US
The Lihu'e opened in 1931 as a Spanish Mission style movie house at a cost of about $70,000. Heavily damaged by Hurricane Iniki in 1992, there was talk of just tearing it down. Instead, it was turned into senior apartments.
