The bust of the Egyptian Queen Neferneferuaten Nefertiti (c. 1370 BC – c. 1330 BC) made around 1345 BC is one of the most iconic portrait busts in the World.

1912 it was found in the discovery of the sculptor Thutmose's workshop in Amarna, Egypt.

From 1967 to 2005 it was in the museum of Charlottenburg Palace in Berlin and from 2009 at the Neues Museum.

Since it's discovery it has been kept away or on display now and then, around Berlin.
