The Pirate Ship restaurant was built in 1971 and was previously named the China Clipper Chinese Restaurant. It reopened as The Pirate Ship in May 2007, but it was closed a few months later. Efforts to sell it were unsuccessful, so it was reopened in 2008. It closed down again in 2010.
