Decorated like an old-timey soda fountain, The Stand sports a huge menu of dogs, burgers, and sandwiches. Marlene chose the Big Bleu Dog with bleu cheese, grilled onions, and chipotle BBQ sauce. Amy & I built our own Kosher Dog with bacon, grilled onions, hot mustard, and Stand sauce (a savory ketchup/mayo sauce, akin to Hires Big H’s Fry Sauce in Salt Lake City). Both dogs came with homemade potato chips, which were a huge plus for all parties. Glass-bottled sodas were also a treat, specifically a brand that we’ve never seen before: Ed & Pete’s Lemonade from Bristol, Rhode Island.
