Three Oste class fleet service ships

Officially designated as fleet service ships, the three vessels of the Type 423 Oste class are purpose built ELINT and reconnaissance ships of the Deutsche Flotte. Nearest to shore here is Alster (A50), behind it is Oker (A53) and on the other side of pier is Oste (A52). The three ships were commissioned 1988-89.
