On Tuesday 19th July 2022 Christian HB9CYX/P a radio amateur from Switzerland reached the summit of Titlis and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 37 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF, 70cm UHF and the 40 and 20 HF amateur radio bands.
