Frederik III (rear) Queen Sophie Amalie were King and Queen of Denmark and Norway from 1648-1670.

One of their children was Prince George (Jørgen) of Denmark who was married to Queen Anne of Great Britain.
The English baroque composer Jeremiah Clarke made around 1700 his famous tune "Prince of Denmark's March". In Denmark this tune was played by the BBC during broadcasts during the Nazi-German occupation 1940-1945.
