Tri-City Raceway

Tri-City Raceway

West Richland, Washington (WA), US
This 1/2 mile paved tri-oval track operated from 1968-2004. The track was billed as the "Fastest 1/2 mile track West of the Mississippi". Along with a weekly Saturday night assortment of stock car races, it hosted NASCAR Northwest Series races.

After a few years of unsuccessful attempts to sell the track to another owner willing to continue the operation, the 92 acre property was sold in 2008 for $1.75 million with plans to use the land for the local wine industry.

2013 update - After more than four years since the sale, there has been little to no progress to begin converting this property for the wine industry. The structures on the site have deteriorated beyond repair, making it unlikely that the track will ever reopen. However, the track is leased by the Sand and Sage Sports Car Club for autocross events.
