Henderson Lake, at 1814 feet above sea level, is the northernmost body of water which discharges directly into the Hudson River. The official source of the Hudson is Lake Tear of the Clouds in the Adirondack Mountains, which empties into Feldspar Brook , then the Opalescent River, then into the Henderson Lake, and lastly the Hudson.
