On Monday 19th September 2022, David K7DMJ, a radio amateur from Alpine, UT reached the summit of Twin Peaks East and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 9 contacts in total working on the 40 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of Twin Peaks East is 3356 metres (11011 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
