Twycross Zoo is close to the small Leicestershire village of Norton Juxta Twycross. It was established in 1963 and now is very much involved in the worldwide conservation.
It is claimed that the Zoo has the largest collection of of apes and monkeys in the Western World.
A recent addition to the attractions of the Zoo is The Gruffalo Discovery Land which it is hoped will inspire children to understand the importance of conservation and the natural world.
