Uluru is one of Australia's most recognizable natural icons associated with the indigenous culture. The formation is made out of sandstone and is 863 meters or 2,831 feet tall. The Uluru is apart of the Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa National Park and is considered sacred to the Anangu, the Aboriginal people of the area.
