Gureghian purchased two homes that occupied the lots in 2011 for a combined $28.9M. He has then submitted plans to the city of Palm Beach to build a 30,000 ft² (2,800 m²) mansion, which was supposed to include a two-lane bowling alley in the basement, and then built the house. The house is spread over the two lots initially purchased by Gureghian.
