Vallée Blanche Aerial Tramway

Vallée Blanche Aerial Tramway

Courmayeur, Italy (IT)
The Vallée Blanche Aerial Tramway began service in 1958 and connects the Peaks of Aiguille du Midi and Pointe Helbronner in the Mont Blanc massif. During the 30 minute ride the cable cars pass over the Mont Blanc massif.

Since June 2015, this tramway is connected to the Skyway Monte Bianco. Both mountain top stations are standing adjacent to each other. This gives the opportunity to go from Chamonix (France) to Coumayeur (Italy) by passing over two mountains and the Mont Blanc massif. It takes roughly 56 minutes (not counting changing time) for this expensive ride.
