This is Villa di Aiola, a 17th century Italian Renaissance villa. It was built on the remains of a castle called Castello Aiola.

In 1934, it was bought by Italian politician Giovanni Francesco Malagodi, who transformed the estate into a winery.

In 2012, the estate was bought by Russian businessmen.

The estate produces excellent Chianti Classico and a range of other very good wines.
