The exhibition features the paintings of Maurice de Vlaminck (1876-1958), produced between 1900 and 1915, from the earliest known of his paintings - his former works, painted from the age of 17, have all disappeared - already asserting his characteristic violence, to those produced at the beginning of the First World War, reflecting his contemporary research on the rendering of space.
