On Sunday 3rd July 2022 Guido HB9BQB/P a radio amateur from Switzerland reached the summit of Wagnersberg and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 46 contacts in total working on the 40 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of Wagnersberg is 1105 metres (3625 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups database.
