West Pier, Brighton

West Pier, Brighton

Brighton, United Kingdom (GB)
The West Pier is a pier in Brighton. It was built in 1866 by Eugenius Birch and has been closed and deteriorating since 1975, awaiting renovation and now, after many fires and storms, there little left.

Live Local shows two quite different views of this site. Bird's Eye View (thumbnail) is more recent one showing completely destroyed pier. Aerial view shows the pier substantially intact and must at least three or four years old.
