WhiteWater World is a water park located on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia that opened to the public on December 8, 2006. At a cost of AUD$56 million, eight attractions were built for opening. It is situated directly adjacent to the Dreamworld theme park, in the suburb of Coomera. As with Dreamworld, WhiteWater World is owned and operated by Macquarie Leisure Trust and was built as an alternative to the nearby Warner Village Theme Parks' Wet'n'Wild Water World. The park has an Australian beach culture theme, with it previously being used as the backdrop for the Nine Network children's television series The Shak.
