On Wednesday 29th June 2022 Paul K9PM/P a radio amateur from Box Elder, SD reached the summit of Wildcat Hill and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 54 contacts in total working on the 40, 30, 20, 17, 15 and 10metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of Wildcat Hill is 2299 metres (7543 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups database.
