Now a retired CPA, I must say that Bill Pulte was the most principled and honorable men with whom I had the pleasure of working. He personally taught me the difference between thrifty and cheap (I favored cheap 'til then), but more important, he paid us handsomely to be conservative. His motto, now mine through empowerment, was "Just do the right thing 'cuz it's the right thing to do". He meant it and he lived it.
