BaasG pictureAirplane on its side performing in an air show
Shape looks like an F-104 Starfighter. And there where Starfighters at the 2004 Airshow (just as the Thunderbirds and the tiger CF-18), but those have a different color: http://www.stevesairshow.com/2004shows/cold-lake04.html

Must be an old foto....

Copied from http://www.aruba.com/pages/naturalbridge.htm :
"September 2, 2005

It is with great sorrow that Aruba announces the loss of one of the island’s most treasured attractions, the Natural Bridge."

Anyhow, good find!

BaasG pictureRota AB, Spain
Ever seen a C-5 with 5 engines? ;)

Anyhow, Rota is an interesting base, with 3 more C-5's at the platform, a Boeing 747, 3 P-3's, some Mirage F-1's and smaller stuff like jet trainers.

Hard to see, but it can be an F-14 as well. Perhaps kjfitz can give his thoughts.

BaasG pictureC-97 at Millville Airport
Could be one of only 2 remaining airworthy C-97's, the one from the Berlin Airlift Historical Foundation.

See http://www.spiritoffreedom.org/c97.html , she has red wingtips and a red tail.

"According to some sources, the Tu-22M Backfire-B/C production variants were believed to be designated Tu-26 by Russia, although this is disputed by many sources."

So let's say it's a Backfire ;)

BaasG pictureGrazzanise Air Force Base
East side of the airbase is full with F-104 Starfighters. To bad the Italians stopped flyings those rockets-with-wings.

On the ramps on the south-east corner you find German F-4F's and Tornados and USAF T-38's. The south-west corner has F-117 housings, but I haven't find any stealth's yet.

Yes, you're right.

BaasG pictureCoal Fired Power Plant
Are you sure it is a nuclear power plant? Looks more like a coal powered one, because of the large coal field little north of the plant. Those cooling towers are very normal for watercooling at any powerplant.
