Ever seen a C-5 with 5 engines? ;)

Anyhow, Rota is an interesting base, with 3 more C-5's at the platform, a Boeing 747, 3 P-3's, some Mirage F-1's and smaller stuff like jet trainers.

Hard to see, but it can be an F-14 as well. Perhaps kjfitz can give his thoughts.

Could be one of only 2 remaining airworthy C-97's, the one from the Berlin Airlift Historical Foundation.

East side of the airbase is full with F-104 Starfighters. To bad the Italians stopped flyings those rockets-with-wings.

On the ramps on the south-east corner you find German F-4F's and Tornados and USAF T-38's. The south-west corner has F-117 housings, but I haven't find any stealth's yet.

Are you sure it is a nuclear power plant? Looks more like a coal powered one, because of the large coal field little north of the plant. Those cooling towers are very normal for watercooling at any powerplant.
