My father was stationed at Capodichino 1968-1970. My brother, sister and I went to Forrest Sherman Elementary School on Via Manzione. For three long months in early '68 we lived in Hotel Splendid on Via Manzione. About 15 years ago I took my youngest son and we stayed at Hotel Splendid and I showed him the old elementary school - looks so small!! Also have pictures of Humpty Dumpty as well as my father winning a Halloween contest dressed as her! Great memories.
