I visited on 08 10 13 and walked for about 4 hours, not just here but all up and down river road photographing and documenting on the monuments, statues and all other objet d'art. I managed to photograph all the houses at the NRHP site. I also discovered the last house built here was added to an already existing lighthouse, the only one in Philadelphia. Thanks for posting this beautiful site.
I loved my second visit here September 5, 2011. I identified the graves of several signers of the Declaration of Independence. Naturally, I visited Franklin's Grave and that of his family and descendants. There are many Revolutionary War patriots here as well. This is one of my favorite sites to visit. Thanks for posting this map!
I first visited this site on September 5, 2011 and waymarked the heck out of it especially because it is listed on the NRHP. I was particularly interested in this and the other nearby meetinghouses as I sat for Meeting for Worship all through the high school I attended in New Town, PA. There is an out of place grave out front belonging to Dr. Edward Owen and rumor has it, a lot more graves are hidden about the property as well. Finally, in case you are keeping score at home, this is the...
When I first visited this site in September 5, 2011, I was actually on a Waymarking adventure and had not idea this place existed. I snapped some cursory shots (about 20 for me) and when I returned home and looked at the pictures, I realized I discovered a gem. I was amazed at the architecture, the frieze art and the historical value of this building. Sadly, this building is not on the NRHP, at least not by any listing I could find. Thanks for Posting!
I have went with my children on school fields trips, camp field trips and scouting trips to this site not to mention all the times I went growing up in nearby Cherry Hill, just across the river. Interestingly enough, this is the most historic site in Philadelphia which is not on the NRHP, probably because there was never enough evidence of the historical nature of this house to support the necessary documentation on the nomination form to gain the listing. There are a few out of place graves...
Ah yes, the 'ole Ben...how else would I have been able to attend more than 500 Phillies Games over the last 40 years. I am on this bridge too many times a year to count and already several times this month alone (September 2013). I have also waymarked it every which way on Waymarking as well. Thanks for posting!
Starting in 2006, I have visited this site at least on five separate occasions and walked right by it on August 26, 2013 on my way to jury duty at Camden County Superior Court. Thanks for sharing!
I visited here in 2009 with my two children and had a wonderful time. We did some face painting (free!), saw a few demonstrations, painted some fish and I collected a bunch of waymarks, as I always do when I go to a new place. Thanks for sharing!

I have visited this shot tower a few times over the years each time I am in Baltimore. There is an NRHP site to the right rear of this site. We also have a shot tower of our own in Philadelphia, not nearly popular or 'touristy' as this one.
