One of 5 remaining buildings (of 200+) from the Chicago Columbian Expo in the mid 1890s. This building is the only that retains its original location on the northern end of Jackson Park.

This piece is being relocated out of High Park and into Toronto proper. Originally, the piece consisted of one pyramid inverted over the other but it was partially dismantled due to neglect or safety concerns. It has been lying horizontally for many years. Hopefully the relocation and restoration will bring the piece back to di Suvero's original design.

BTW, architect, Frank Gehry was on the design team in 1967. Compare this to Millenium Park Pavillion in Chicago. A 40 year swing for aspiring architects.
