Wow... what's interesting about this post is that the LL thumbnail shows the old building, GM thumbnail shows the demolition, and YM thumbnail shows the new building... if you look closely you can tell that the LL and YM buildings are not the same.

The old building shown in the LL thumbnail is the Thomas Edison Building, built in 1973 and demolished likely in about 2002/03. Pepco, the local electricity utility, occupied the EdisonBuilding until 1999, and the the World Bank used the space until its demolition. The new building used the old foundations of the Edison building, and was completed in 2005.
