The Airburst Range is located in the southwest corner of R-2601, on the Fort Carson Army Reservation. It is approximately 110 miles south of Buckley ANG and 25 miles west of the city of Pueblo, Colorado.

Manned Air To Ground Range. Airburst Range has 39 scoreable bomb targets and four (2) low angle strafe targets scored with a IRSSS system as described below and in Attachment 5.

Lots more targets to the NW including the popular "Star of David" SA-2 missile site.
