American Shoal Light

Located south of the Florida Keys, American Shoal Light was boarded by 24 Cubans in May, 2016. They were trying to migrate into the United States. In June, a Federal U.S. Judge ruled that the lighthouse is not "dry land," and the migrants will be returned to Cuba.
