This NHRA sanctioned drag strip opened in 1964. From 1972-2006, it hosted an NHRA national event. Tony Schumacher set the world record here in 2005 with a 336.15 mph top speed.

In Google Street View, you can drive on Refugee Road, which crosses the end of the track just before the sand trap.
