Sewell is Chairman of Sewell Automotive Companies, a large company of automobile dealerships based in Dallas, Texas where he began in 1967. He is also the Chairman of the Executive Board of the Southern Methodist University Edwin L. Cox School of Business and serves as a board member of several non-profit organizations.
