The second highest point of the Orchard Training Area isn't exactly a mountain, it's more of a butte. The Idaho Army National Guard, as well as units from several neighboring states, trains here on a regular basis. The observation tower on the summit has a perfect view to the southeast where the primary maneuver area is located. In conjunction with the U.S. Forest Service, the Idaho Guard tries to make sure that the local environment is protected as much as can be.
