Thanks for your Darfur posts, Don. With any luck, posts like yours will help the world finally take notice of such a time-sensitive tragedy. Here is a link to the Holocaust museum's effort to marry Google Earth satellite imagery with images of the atrocities on the ground:

Thank you, Pdunn. It's unbelievable what people can do to each other. I also found a few destroyed villages (for instance: http://virtualglobetrotting.com/map/31707/) in Darfur itself. These are just a few examples: you can't imagine how many more you will find simply by searching the area...
