In 2003 David Bowie and wife Iman bought 64 acres of mountainside land in the hamlet of Shokan in the Catskill Mountains of New York State. In the following years, they built a beautiful country retreat with a fantastic view. Bowie has recorded at nearby Allaire Studios.
