Erwin Rommel's House (former)

Herrlingen, Germany (DE)
Rommel was the Field Marshal of the German forces in Northern Africa during WWII. Despite representing Nazi Germany, he's regarded as having been a "humane" officer and one of the greatest military commanders of the 20th century.

This was his final home. After being accused of complicity in the 20 July 1944 plot against Hitler, Rommel was forced to commit suicide just outside of the city.
